    This happens a lot in Chinese manga for whatever reason. The protagonist turns into a prick, and becomes generally a unlikable character. It’s like two different writers switched in and out. Nie Li’s personality changed so much in chapters 138-140. Anyone else notice this?

      IMHO, Nie Li did that on purpose to see what kind of character YeHan is. In Nie Lie previous life Ye Han was not appear at all. Maybe Ye Han is part of Dark Guild or he is Dark Guild leader himself.
